It's back to the books week around here. We kinda-sorta school year-round, but this summer looked more like un-schooling, so the adjustment to what has been roughly seven hours a day of textbooks and copywork and Pre-Algebra lessons and...has been a bit rough. The kids have had great attitudes overall, but I've been pretty wiped out. Especially since I haven't had the chunk of quiet time I need to put together lesson plans, so I've been doing that every night after the kids get to bed.A few weeks ago people were posting pictures of their kids, but I wasn't organized enough to get into that "not back to school" thing. But, I did think to take pictures on our first day, and even enlisted my husband's help in a class picture, complete with the "teacher." Enjoy!
